Bathing
​
Pilgrims & Visitors are welcome to participate in the rite of bathing in the waters during advertised times.  Bathing takes place in the outer pool.
Bathing times are daily and as follows
11.00am - 11.30am
1.00pm - 1.30pm and
3.00pm - 3.30 pm

​(These times may be subject to alteration - please check with the Well Shrine Administrator)

"St Winefride's Well is a regulated private water supply. Only Filtered water is for use for religious purposes. Visitors are advised not to to use water from the shrine or the outdoor bathing area as it is treated with chlorine"

Visiting the Crypt

Please be respectful whilst visiting the Shrine Crypt as it is a place of worship.
Shirts are to be worn at all times and no wet clothing is allowed.
Absolutely no bathing is permitted.
Do not make contact with or put anything into the Shrine as this is drinking water.
No filming or photography is permitted during services.
Please do not leave anything inside the crypt or mark the walls.
